Premium Experience Mallku Experience 4x4
4 days exploring the Catamarca Puna
A 4-day adventure through the most extreme and remote landscapes of the NOA: the Campo de Piedra Pómez, the Galán Volcano with the largest caldera in the world, ancient archaeological sites, and the Ruins of Shincal.
Why is Mallku different?
We're not a traditional travel agency. We are specialists in archaeology and cultural heritage.
Specialized guides
Not general tour guides. They are archaeologists with academic training who interpret sites with scientific rigor and accessible storytelling.
Small groups
Maximum 6-8 people per departure. Personalized attention, relaxed pace, no rush for questions. This is not mass tourism.
Unique content
Deep interpretation of each site. We don't repeat information from signs: we connect archaeology, history, landscape, and Andean worldview.
Landscapes you'll discover
Archaeological sites, Andean valleys, and the immensity of the Catamarca Puna.
What our travelers say
Impressive. It truly feels exclusive: impossible landscapes, zero rush, and flawless logistics. The guide is incredibly knowledgeable and explains everything clearly.
Archaeology told on-site changes everything. It's not the same to read about Quilmes as it is to walk among its terraces while they explain how people lived. We came back with a new perspective on the NOA.
The day at Galán is one of the most impactful we've had in Argentina. Totally recommended if you're looking for something different from traditional tourism.
